I got up at noon sharp today too. I took a listening exam and took five online English classes as always. Today's teachers were all kind and friendly, and they listened to me patiently. So thanks to that, I had a bunch of opportunities to speak English. One of the teachers was from Serbia. Her pronunciation was quite clear and easier to understand, so I got jealous of her.
今日も12時に起きた～。今日もいつもどおりリスニングのテストをして、オンライン英会話を5回受けた。今日の先生はみんな優しくて一生懸命わたしの話を聞いてくれたからいっぱいスピーキングの練習ができた。今日はセルビア出身の先生とも話したんだけど、発音がとても綺麗で羨ましかったなぁ。
Many teachers gave me a compliment of my pronunciation, but I want to brush up it more and get close to a native speaker. Actually, I could not pronounce English properly at all before going to study abroad in the Philippines, such as "L" and "R" sounds. But I could improve it since I took pronunciation lessons every day. So I think it was a good choice that I decided to go to study abroad in the Philippines though teachers were not native speakers. Besides, it is well said by my teachers that I can construct English sentences with the correct grammar, but I wonder if it is true. I am always confused when I make sentences in English since I cannot pick out the best word for the sentences I am making quickly. But those sentences are luckily somehow correct. On the other hand, I often get some advice about the fluency of English. From my point of view, I tend to focus on speaking English accurately, so that is why I need a while to make an English sentence. To sum up, I should speak English smoothly rather than perfectly. I will do my best for it. You know, I used to be good at neither the pronunciation, nor the grammar, nor the fluency of English before, so to compare to it, I have absolutely improved my English.
オンライン英会話を受けているとよく先生から発音いいねって褒められるんだけど、もっともっと発音うまくなりたいなぁ。ネイティブみたいに。でも、ほんとフィリピン行く前は全然発音うまくできなくて、特にLとRとか。でもフィリピンで発音の授業を取って、それで上達できたから本当に留学してよかったと思う。それから、よく先生に正しい文法で文章が組み立てられてるねって言われるけど、いつも不思議に思う。だって、いつもなにか言わなくちゃって思って結構ぐちゃぐちゃの英語を話しているつもりだから。それでも文法的には正しいんだよねぇ。それから、よく指摘されるのが流暢さ。これは正しい文法を話すことに集中しすぎているのが原因だと思う。だから、まとめると、文法のミスを気にするというよりむしろスムーズに話すようにする必要があるってことだよね。がんばろう。前までは発音も文法も流暢さもよくなかったからその頃から比べたら本当に上達してると思う。
Incidentally, I sent a book for learning English since I could sell it with Merucari. I want to sell all of my books and sort of thing before leaving Fukui.
それから今日はメルカリで本が売れたから発送してきたよ～ん。福井を離れる前に本とかぜんぶ売っちゃいたい！
