I try to use the words and the phrases that I learned today in my diary as output to memorize them certainly.
毎回日記でその日に習った単語やフレーズをアウトプットとして使うことで確実に覚えるようにしています。
★Today's mission★
・childhood friends：幼なじみ
・be in great shape：絶好調
・in contrast with/to A ：Aと打って変わって
I got up at ten. I got up earlier than usual because I wanted to arrange the schedule to see my friends. I hurried to take a mock listening exam, and then I prepared while watching a DVD for the Japanese Language Teaching Competency Test.
今日は10時に起きた。今日はお昼に友達と会う約束してたからスケジュール調整するために早起きした。急いでリスニングの模擬試験して日本語教育能力検定試験のDVD見ながら準備。
I have finally seen my friend since high school. It has been ten months since I last met her at the beginning of this year. I enjoyed talking with her a lot. After that, we went to our friend's house to see her baby. she is one of my childhood friends. I had satisfactory hours.
そして久しぶりに高校からの友達に会えた～！お正月に会ったぶりだから約10カ月ぶり！いろいろ話せて楽しかったな～！そのあと昔から仲良しの友達の家に赤ちゃん見に遊びに行って帰ってきた！充実の数時間だった～。
After getting back home, I took four online English classes at three, four, five, seven p.m. I was in great shape in contrast with yesterday. I could speak English fluently, so today's lessons were all enjoyable.
そんで帰ってからすぐオンライン英会話！今日も午後3時4時5時7時から4回受けた！今日は昨日と打って変わって絶好調！なんかスラスラ英語出てきて楽しくレッスン受けれた～！
I had a discussion in a previous lesson about the necessity of learning languages at this time when we can use translation machines. I believe that the acquisition of languages is absolutely meaningful. It is because we can learn not only languages but also cultures and histories that are hidden behind of languages at the same time. Besides, I think it is essential to acquire languages to get along with people who speak them.
レッスンの題材で「翻訳機がある今、英語を勉強する必要があるか」について討論したことあったけど、わたしは絶対言語を習得することに意味はあると思う。言語を学ぶことってただ単に言語だけ習得するんじゃなくて、その言語の裏に隠された文化とか歴史についても同時に学べるから。あと、その言語を話す人と仲良くなるためにはその言語を習得することが必須だと思う。
I have some foreign friends who were exchange students. Some of them who can speak Japanese well have somehow Japanese customs and can communicate with Japanese naturally, so Japanese people are prone to feel like getting along with them. I am interested in other countries' cultures, histories, people not the only Japanese one. That is why I think languages are important because they are condensing all of them. Also, from my point of view, languages are literally fascinating because they have been changing just like the time.
日本に来ていた留学生の友達が何人かいるけど、日本語を上手に話す人はなんとなく日本人らしさを兼ね備えていて親しみやすいからねー。わたしは日本だけじゃなくて他国の文化、歴史、人に興味があるから、それらがぎゅっと凝縮された言語をすごく大切に思う。そして、時代が流れるにつれて変化していく言語ってすごく面白いなって思うんだよね。
