最後のトピックが「Home（家）」って、なんか、、
原点回帰を思い起こさせてくれるなぁと。。
なんでも初心忘れるべからずですね。

Part１
1. How do you maintain your privacy at home?
（自宅ではどのようにプライバシーを守っていますか？）
（日本語）
私の両親は私に個室を用意してくれています。また、家族は部屋に入る前に必ずドアをノックしてくれます。だから、プライバシーは守られています。
（英訳）
My parents provide me an individual room. Also, my family always knock on the door of my room before entering it. So, I can keep my privacy secure.
2. Generally, what do you do in your private time?
（プライベートな時間には何をしていますか？）
（日本語）
NetflixやYouTubeでウォーキング・デッドをよく見ています。あとは、英語の本を読んだり、TOEICのリスニングの模擬試験を受けたりして、英語の勉強をしています。その時間帯は、家族が気を散らさないように部屋に入らないようにしてくれています。本当に感謝しています。
（英訳）
I often watch the Walking Dead on Netflix or YouTube videos. Also, I study English by reading an English book and taking a listening mock exam for TOEIC. My family kindly refrain from entering my room at that time to avoid distracting me. I really appreciate it to them.
3. How do you usually balance working time and personal time?
（ 普段、仕事とプライベートの時間はどのようにバランスをとっていますか？）
（日本語）
今は仕事をしていませんが、英語の勉強をしている時間と仕事の時間を同じにするとしたら、仕事の合間に休憩時間を設けることが多いですね。プライベートの時間はNetflixやYouTubeを見ながら過ごしています。

Now, I don’t have jobs, but if I would say the time when I study English is the same as working time, I often have a break between the work times. I watch Netflix or YouTube as I spend personal time.
4. Do you use social media (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.)? Do you set up privacy settings to your account or you keep them public for everyone to know what you are up to?
（ソーシャルメディア（Facebook、Twitter、Instagramなど）を利用していますか？アカウントにプライバシー設定をしているのか、それとも誰にでもわかるように公開しているのか？）

私はよく使います。でも、ソーシャルメディアに関しては気にしていないので、プライバシー設定はしていません。私は個人情報や機密情報を投稿しない。どこに行ったかとか、最近買ったものを投稿するだけです。なので、そこまでする必要はないと思います。
（英訳）
I often use it. But I don’t set up a privacy setting because I don’t care about it regarding social media. I don’t post my personal information or confidential one. I merely post where I went or what I bought recently. Therefore, I don’t think it is necessary to do that.
5. Is there any danger in exposing your private life to the public? Give examples.
（私生活を公開することに危険性はありますか？例を挙げてください。）

いいえ、何もありません。ただ、有名人の場合は危険になることもあります。例えば、有名な人が投稿した写真の中に家に関する情報が含まれているとしたら、彼または彼女のファンがそこに来るかもしれません。また、一般の人でも、自分に悪意のある人がいる場合に当てはまることがあります。

No, nothing. But, for celebrities, it can become dangerous. For instance, if someone famous posts a picture that is including information about his or her house, his or her fan might come there. Also, it can apply to an ordinary person when he or she has a person who has evil to him or her.

Describe the house in which you grew up.
（あなたが育った家について説明してください。）
（日本語）
私が育った家はそれほど大きくありませんでした。二階建ての家でした。庭も付いていました。私は生まれてから大学を卒業するまでそこに住んでいました。だから、20年以上はそこに住んでいました。家はかなり古くて、日本の伝統的な家でした。断熱材が入っていないので、夏は暑く、冬は寒く感じました。それは悪い特徴かもしれません。でも、季節を大きく感じられるのが気に入っていました。それに、ダイニングには天井の高さと同じくらいの高さの大きな窓がありました。そこから庭を眺めるのが好きだった。緑がかった木々やきれいな花、たくさんの虫たちが見えます。それとは対照的に、冬には雪が降っているのが見えました。特に、こたつで暖をとりながら雪を見るのが楽しかったです。外の寒さを想像していました。そんな思い出が、日本の季節を好きにさせてくれました。私が東京で仕事をしていたのを機に、家族は引っ越しをしました。そのため、地元に帰っても、昔の家に行くことはほとんどありません。しかし、季節の移り変わりを感じるたびに、昔の家の庭の景色を思い出します。

The house in which I grew up was not so big. It had two levels. Also, it was including a garden. I had stayed there from I was born to the time when I graduate from university. So, I lived there for more than twenty years. The house was quite old and Japanese traditional style. It hadn’t gotten insulation so, I felt hot in summer and felt cold in Winter. It could be a bad feature. However, I liked that because I could greatly feel each season. Besides, the dining room had a large window that was as tall as the height of the ceiling. I loved looking at the view of our garden through it. I could see some greenish trees, beautiful flowers, and lots of insects. In contrast, I could see snow falling in Winter. I especially enjoyed seeing snow while getting warm from a kotatsu which is a Japanese cultural heating device. I always imagined how cold outside was. Those memories made me like Japanese seasons. Now our family moved to a new house when I worked in Tokyo. So I rarely go to our old house when I back to my hometown. However, I remember the view of our old house’s garden whenever I feel the season has changed.

1. Which is more common in your country, owning a house, or renting a place to live?
（あなたの国では、家を持つのと住む場所を借りるのはどちらが一般的ですか？）
（日本語）
人が住んでいる地域によって異なります。基本的に田舎に住んでいる人は、土地代が都会に比べて安いので、家を所有しています。また、世帯主の職業にもよります。仕事の関係でどこかに転勤が必要な場合は、そのような家庭はアパートを借りる傾向があります。
（英訳）
It depends on the region where people live. Basically, people who live in the countryside own a house because the fee for the land is cheaper than in the city. Also, it depends on the occupation of the head of the family. If the person needs to transfer to somewhere because of his or her job, that kind of family tends to rent an apartment.
2. Is it easy to own a house in your country?
（あなたの国では家を所有することは簡単ですか？）
（日本語）
私は決してそうは思いません。一般的には住宅ローンを組んで家を購入します。返済に苦しむ家族をよく見かけます。また、それが原因で過労で病気になることもあります。
（英訳）
I never think so. Generally, we take out a home loan to buy a house. I often see the family who suffer from paying back it. Also, it sometimes causes the ill through overwork because of it.
3. There is a proverb that says, "Home is where the heart is." Do you agree?
（このような格言があります。「家は心の拠り所」あなたはこれに賛成ですか？）

私は全く同感です。家に帰るといつもリラックスしています。お気に入りの家具や服、本などでいっぱいです。他人の目を気にする必要がない。わたしは元気がでます。わたしのことをいつも待っていてくれて、癒しを与えてくれる場所だと感じています。
（英訳）
I totally agree with this. I always feel relaxed when I go back to my home. It is filled with my favorite furniture, clothes, books, etc. I don’t need to care about others’ eyes. It is exhilarating. I feel that the place always waits for me and gives me a healing atmosphere.
